This blog will be used to review all of the cigars that I smoke within the next 5 weeks. They will also be published on CigarWeekly.com. My next post will display how I will be reviewing each of these cigars...

Good luck with this bro - I'll be watching to see how you do, and will also give you grades on how well you write them up. If you average out an A- or less you owe me a box of RyJ #4's :-)
Good luck!!!!
good luck!
http://jcole311reviews.blogspot.com/ ALthough I havent updated it in sometime, I created a cigar review blog also. Perhaps this will give me the push to put some new reviews up, may be we can review the same cigars or I can send you cigars to review. I'm JCole311 on CW. BTW 311 is the greatest band ever!!!
Congrats on you'r cool blog Aaron.I'l be checking back to see what cigars you decide to review.
Big Puff
Congrats Aaron! I'm glad you made a blog for this. Maybe we can spark some cigar-related conversation here.
I've been noticing that a lot of older movies have ample cigar cameos. I thought of making a list, but never got around to it. I can think of some right off the top of my head though...
Movies with cigar cameos:
Trading Spaces - When Eddie Murphy is in the limo they hand him a whole handful of Montecristos
Crank - In the end credits an Opus X pops up!
Die Another Day - Bronson is smoking one while in Havana.
Hellboy - Hellboy is smoking one pretty much throughout the entire movie.
X-Men - Wolverine is always smoking cigars throughout all the movies. (I guess it's PC if you have mutant healing abilities)
Original Sin - Angelina Jolie does a very, very sexy job of lighting up a small PC looking cigar
I have seen a ton more, so I'll come back and keep updating it as I remember them.
Congratulations and good luck with this project.
I find it amazing at how much computer technology has advanced in the last 40 years. When I was in under graduate school there were only two higher education facilities in Boston that had computers (MIT and Wentworth). The main frame was almost the size of a car and Fortran IV was the primary programing language and trying to get access to a 'punchcard' machine took hours. Today they have you setting up blogs in the freshmen or sophmore year.
Several colleges in the Northeast have recently started 'Cigar Clubs'... it appears to be a new wave. I'm not sure where they smoke! lol
Looking forward to reading some of your cigar reviews and best wishes at ISU.

Good luck with this buddy. I don't create a new account somewhere for just anybody but for a Mensch like like you, no problem. Hope you do well.
Very nice. Keep us all posted on the progress of the site over at CW. Love to watch this grow over the next 5 weeks. GOOD LUCK!
I'm sitting in my living room right now smoking a Carlos Torano Exodus,(one of the few and proud that can smoke IN the comfort of there home.) and I was going to do a review of this cigar and post it as one of the first on this blog. How ever, I've decided that since a lot of the people that will be checking this site out are non cigar smokers maybe a post about "why the hell we smoke cigars" would be a better place to kick start some conversation. So I'll try to put something together that's readable and post it tonight.
Awesome idea for a blog, Aaron! I'll be checking back often to check out your reviews. Now.....get to smoking dude!
Oh....forgot to add..."Craig" is One90proof from CW. :-)
Getting ready to light up a CAO Gold torpedo and watch the football games. Hopefully the Super Bowl will be between Chicago and New England.
GO PATRIOTS !!!
