I'm a bit short on time for this post, but I wanted to get it out there! Yesterday I smoked a Carlos Torano Casa Torano Torpedo, as well as a Torano Virtuoso Robusto.
The Torpedo wasn't what I was expecting. I expected a smooth finish, but what I got was a bitter, nasty ending to just an "okay" cigar. I would definitely buy these again, but I may let them rest for a long while. They'd be perfect if you were on a golf course and didn't really care how long you smoked the cigar for.
The Virtuoso on the other hand.....quite possibly one of the best cigars I've smoked in a long time! It was about 20* outside last night, but I decided to smoke it anyways. After about 40ish minutes of freezing my butt off, I decided it might be a good idea to go inside....but i continued to smoke it LOL! It smoked for a good 45 minz, impeccable burn..the ash stayed on for more then half the way down the cigar and gently fell off on its own. They're not the cheapest cigars in the world..but I would highly recommend picking up a 5er if you have the opportunity...I'm bidding on some right now on the devil! (cigarbid.com).
I gotta go. Thanks for reading!

I recently had a Casa Torano from a sampler I bought. While I'm not a Torano afficiando, I really enjoyed the Casa Torano.
Nice smoke with a deft, light touch, and nice finish, as I recall. Good construction and burn also. I think the Toranos are a really nice line, one that I need to explore further. The sampler I got in on was about $2.75 per cigar, and a great value!
I have a couple more Casa Toranos put away, and maybe I'll revisit this smoke superbowl sunday. I think It'll make a great starter cigar for a special occasion.
